Sponsored Walk and Skipathon April 29th, 2022

Visit to Naul Community Centre

The children in 3rd and 4th class were invited to the Naul Community centre to meet some senior members of the community. They were kindly taught how to play Boules by some of the members.

Many thanks to the community members for their hospitality. The children had great fun socialising with them and learning a new activity.

The children also enjoyed the lovely walk down to the community centre. The weather was beautiful and the children enjoyed talking to one another as they walked.

Learning to play Boules

Active School Playground Leaders

A huge thankyou to our Active School Playground Leaders who are a great help to the teachers, SNA’s and the Active Line Leaders.

The Active School Playground Leaders are an important part of the Active School Team.

This year we appointed Active School Playleaders to help the Active School Committee. As the Active Line Leaders are doing exercises with their class lines, the Playleaders collect and tidy playground equipment.

They also bring equipment out to the yard. This ensures that the Active Line Leaders can focus on their class lines. The role of the Active School Playleaders is to help ensure that playtime equipment is organised and tidied efficiently.

Naul N.S would like to thank the Active School Leaders for their great help and dedication which

helps drive the whole school effort towards achieving the Active School flag.

We are lucky to have such a wonderful team!

Fingal Gaelic League

As you can imagine there was huge excitement amongst the team and their supporters!

Congratulations to an amazing team!

All the children made banners, headbands and flags with the Clann Mhuire colours to make sure their team could see their supporters as they cheered them on.

The Naul supporters!

The school children from 1st to 6th class went to cheer on our team in Parnell park.

Well done for such an outstanding win.

We are very proud of our team.

Yesterday (May 31st) the 5th and 6th class team played in the final of the league and won the match.

Congratulations for playing so well all season and for winning the trophy. All of us at Naul N.S are delighted for the team.

Skill and determination at play

Each week Ms. Moore and the team for that week travel to matches. The team of 5th and 6th class have great sportsmanship and a positive attitude towards each game.

5th and 6th Class have been taking part n the Fingal Gaelic League over the past few weeks. They have been playing matches each week. They have played against St. Margarets, Toberburr, Kilcosckan, Corduff and Milverton.

They have been playing superbly and have won every match

The children at Naul N.S continue to enjoy weekly GAA lessons from the coaches at Clann Mhuire.

They look forward to this time and their skills are truly benefiting from the fantastic coaching they are receiving.

The Junior end of the school took part in a Skipathon for their fundraiser.

There was  great community spirit on the day.

Thanks to the parents for their participation. Their involvement gave the children great encouragement and support.

It was a super achievement for everyone who took part in terms of physical activity and fitness.

It was also brilliant to fundraise towards a school hall and donate funds to Autism Ireland in such a healthy, fun way.

It was a wonderful experience for the children to enjoy walking together in their locality. They had great fun chatting as they walked.
